When you leave Pandora, your benefits will also change. While this can feel sudden, there are a few important things to know so you can plan ahead and understand what support may be available.
What happens to your benefits
When you leave Pandora, your benefits end based on the reason your employment ends. If you voluntarily resign, your benefits end the day after your termination date. If your employment ends involuntarily, your benefits end date is determined by applicable provincial requirements and your seniority date, so the timing may vary.
Record of Employment (ROE)
A Record of Employment, or ROE, is used by Service Canada to help determine whether you qualify for Employment Insurance (EI) benefits. Pandora will complete the ROE when there is an interruption of earnings. If your ROE is submitted electronically, you do not need to request a paper copy from Pandora or provide a copy to Service Canada.
Employment Insurance (EI)
If you lose your job through no fault of your own, you may be eligible for EI regular benefits. Apply as soon as you stop working; you can apply even if your ROE hasn’t been issued yet. If you wait more than four weeks after your last day of work to apply, you may lose benefits.
To apply, you’ll need information, such as your Social Insurance Number, contact information, banking details for direct deposit, and employment details from recent employers. Service Canada will use your application and ROE information to review your claim.
Government programs and coverage options
Depending on your situation, government programs may be able to provide income support, job-search resources, training support, or other assistance. Start with Service Canada for EI and federal benefits information, and check your province or territory’s employment standards and health coverage resources for local programs that may apply to you.

If you leave Pandora within a year of course completion, you may be obligated to repay the full amount back to Pandora.
Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)

Once Canada Life is notified that your employment is terminated and the last contribution has been received, Canada Life will send a disclosure package to address you have on file. The package will outline the options you have to move your assets. Options include moving them to Canada Life’s NextStep program, electing to transfer them to a new employer plan or transferring them to your own personal RRSP.

You have the option to port your Group Life benefit after your employment is terminated. If you're interested, fill out the change conversion form or if you live in Quebec, fill out the Quebec form. Send completed forms to send back to NAMBenefits@pandora.net.
Long-term disability conversion

You have the option to port your long-term disability benefit after your employment is terminated. Fill out the LTD conversion form and send it back to NAMBenefits@pandora.net.
Update your address
Before you leave, make sure your mailing address, email, and phone number are up to date with Pandora and any benefit providers that may send important documents. This helps ensure that you receive pay, tax, ROE, benefit, or coverage information without delay.
