Everyone needs time to recharge—whether it’s a vacation, time for a personal errand, a sick day to rest and recover, or a moment that matters most. Beginning January 1, 2027, Pandora is making time away easier to manage with an enhanced PTO program designed for more flexibility, simplicity, and support.
Taking time off
Whatever the reason for taking time off—vacation, sick, personal, celebrating!—you can use straight Paid Time Off (PTO) and submit your request through Plan.Dora. Friendly tip: A quick heads-up to your manager about your planned time off and coverage is always a good idea, especially during peak retail periods or blackout dates.
Time off for full-time employees
If you’re a regular full-time employee, Pandora’s 2027 enhanced PTO program gives you one PTO bank to manage. Vacation, Personal, and Celebration time will be combined into one annual PTO advancement based on your years of service.
2027 Paid Time Off updates
If you’re an eligible full-time employee, beginning January 1, 2027, you will receive your annual PTO advancement up front, based on your years of service. Instead of tracking separate vacation, personal, and celebration time off, you’ll have one PTO balance to use for all purposes.
Current 2026 time-off rules remain in effect through December 31, 2026. You won’t lose hours you’ve already earned, and you can continue to use them as you normally would, consistent with policy and manager approval.
Here’s a snapshot of the 2027 annual PTO advancement for regular full-time employees:
| Years of service | Annual PTO advancement | Equivalent days |
|---|---|---|
| 0–2.99 years | 160 hours | 20 days |
| 3–4.99 years | 200 hours | 25 days |
| 5–6.99 years | 224 hours | 28 days |
| 7+ years | 240 hours | 30 days |
- One PTO bank: Vacation, Personal, and Celebration time are combined into one annual PTO advancement.
- Available up front: Your annual PTO advancement is provided on January 1 each year, based on your years of service.
- Service milestones: If you reach a new years-of-service level during the year, you’ll receive that year’s higher allocation on January 1 of that year.
- Sick time stays separate: Sick time is still used for sick-policy purposes and is not part of the PTO bank.
- Volunteer time: Volunteer time will not be included in the PTO bank. You’ll request Volunteer time directly in Plan.Dora, similar to Jury Duty or Bereavement.
Sick time stays separate
Your full 80-hour Sick time bank is available at the beginning of the year, giving you immediate access to time away when illness or health needs occur. Sick time will then be refreshed up to an 80-hour cap at the beginning of each year. Need more time off? Review your leave options.
